It's official: Pierce Brosnan is still cooler than most of us mere mortals. And if you weren't convinced by his coloured lenses (a move tipped for greatness this summer), the former James Bond has debuted another pair of sunglasses you need.
At the London premiere of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again last night, Brosnan took the Soul Train all the way back to 1973 by way of gold-rimmed aviators. Which might sound straight out a provincial fancy dress shop, but make like the GoldenEye alum and you've a retro pair that sit on the right side of cool.
The secret is to keep it classic. While the metallic touches are a statement move, the aviators are subtle elsewhere. That means it's as easily-paired with your suit (which Brosnan wears so well) as it is your weekend gear - and more likely to clinch the cost-per-wear ratio.
