It's a fact of modern life that if Meghan Markle wears something today, half the country try to buy it tomorrow.

And yet, on their current Australasian jaunt, it is Harry who has worn what might be his most impressive outfit yet: a light grey two-piece suit in a razor-sharp fit.

It may sound relatively pedestrian, but it's a definite step up for the newly wed Prince. After all, we're used to see Harry wear suits with the air of a man who secretly wishes he could be in his jeans and polo shirt instead. Not this time.

The cut is perfect, and makes him look taller and broader - as a good suit should. And then there's the touch of flair: a pair of blue suede shoes. These Pitti Uomo-worthy derbies are a modern flourish, and proof the Prince is starting to experiment and enjoy himself.

Perhaps Meghan is rubbing off on him. As a favourite of J. Crew and Ralph Lauren, Markle is already considered one of the best-dressed royals yet, and Harry appears to be upping his game in response. There may be more of Prince Charles' penchant for natty tailoring in him than we first thought.
