I've learnt to always wear what makes you feel good. As we're all completely different, our unique minds respond to exactly what we like. That's where style is able to develop and transform over time, and I've learnt this by absorbing my surroundings.
Being introduced to new brands is important when carving out your own style. I started to work with people who understood the vision that I couldn’t exactly paint, like Zegna, which highlighted menswear in a different way.
The most important thing in my wardrobe is a winter jacket I haven't even worn yet. It was a gift and definitely a statement piece that I want to wear soon, though. I do have a few one off pieces that are fun: all of my brothers and I have a gold Rolex that was gifted to us during Christmas from our dad. I cherish that
Dwayne Johnson is the best-dressed man in Hollywood. His personal character shines beyond the brand (or no brand) he's wearing. Makes the 'wear the suit, don't let the suit wear you' expression make sense.
Things have changed a lot since the STUNNA* 16 days. MTV let me change the name for my episode of Sweet 16, so that should tell you a lot about my style then. I was very into urban fashion, and my dad's relationships would get us the clothes months before they were available. I loved that factor.
Ermenegildo Zegna has taught me a lot about personalised tailoring. If you fit into your pieces like a glove, you'll make a difference.
A man must always have a watch. I'm big into jewellery, too, with a range of portrait medallions to my own logo on chains, an things that have personal touches. Rings are my new things, so going to start doing some searching.
A nice sweatsuit [tracksuit] that pops with colour is my fail-safe outfit. It's comfortable, and goes well with a fun sneaker. I also love robe sweaters to travel in, and run errands.
Working with a stylist is still a personal process. At the end of the day, it's always your preference: if a stylist is telling you what to wear based off their style than the job has been done wrong. You have to talk to one another, so new things can be discovered.
