Ralph Lauren's getting good at this - the whole archival thing. After achieving sellout status with last year's CP-93 capsule, and tapping the hits of yore for a landmark Palace collab, the US designer has unlocked the vault once more with a brand new relaunch: the Polo Sport Collection.

Consisting of not one, but two limited edition line-ups, the reissue has placed old classics alongside new designs to channel all things good and great about the 90s. That means cotton denim dungaree jackets, utility jeans and accessories, with a sole menswear collection - the Polo Sport Silver - boasting jackets, bum bags and windbreakers.

Ralph Lauren Polo Sport Collection

First launched in 1992, the re-release was a first for a label of Ralph Lauren's stature. Instead of signature Ivy League polish, it was sportswear: the gym-appropriate stuff that was co-opted by streetwear pundits throughout the 90s, and something enjoying a resurgence today.

All of which makes Ralph Lauren's latest collection a clever (and on-trend) move. With the appetite for shell-suited, logo-filled retromania hungrier than ever, the Polo Sport Collection should keep the kids satisfied. For now.
