In honour of this year's Open Championship, currently underway at Royal St George's in Kent, we've teamed up with the official beer of The Open, Pilsner Urquell, to offer five prize packages containing a selection of golf accessories - and a crate of beer. A winning combination.

Each prize package will include a golf jumper, shoe bag, cap, golf balls and tees, an umbrella and the icing on the cake, a crate of Pilsner Urquell. This is the now the third year running that the world's first golden beer has been official supplier to the world's original golf championship and over 90,000 litres of freshly brewed beer have been shipped into Kent for the occassion.

Competition rules

Only one entry will be accepted per person.  The closing date for receipt of competition entries is 20 July 2011.

The competition is only open to UK residents over the age of 18.

Entry to the competition and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use the winner’s name for promotional purposes without additional consultation.

This competition is not open to employees of The National Magazine Company Limited or our competition partners or their direct family members.

The prize winners will be selected at random by The National Magazine Company Limited.  No purchase necessary.

Only the winners will be contacted personally. A list of winners will be available by sending a SAE to Esquire magazine, Competition winners, 72 Broadwick Street, London W1F 9EP.

Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred although The National Magazine Company Limited reserve the right to change the prizes in the event of unforeseen circumstances. There will be no cash alternative.
