Twitter wind up merchant Piers Morgan kicked off his week on Good Morning Britain by sharing some unsolicited dating advice with Prince Harry.
It comes a few days after the royal confirmed he is dating the Suits star Meghan Markle and according to the TV presenter, who has met the actress, there's only one way to impress her.
"She's big on handwriting when it comes to romance," Morgan declared on the breakfast show. "So Harry if you're watching put it in writing."
Now they're officially an item it's unlikely Harry really needs the help, but annoyingly, Morgan does seem to have a point.
In an interview with Good Housekeeping, Markle revealed her hidden talent. "I used to be a calligrapher for weddings and events — that was my side job while I was auditioning," she said. It's a fact Morgan probably found out when he went for a drink with Markle at a London pub this summer. Yep, that happened.
"She sent me a direct message and said 'thanks for the follow, hey I'm a big fan of yours.' We exchanged some fun stuff," he added in the discussion about the couple on Good Morning Britain.
"My take on her was she's very beautiful, she's very intelligent, she's 35, she's been divorced, her dad's black her mum's white and she had some problems with that growing up."
Just in case Harry needs some encouragement to pop the question later down the line, Morgan also shared this guidance for the prince in his Daily Mail column.
"Harry, ignore all the poisonous rubbish you're reading or hearing about her," he wrote. "Meghan Markle is perfect princess material. Just put any proposal in writing."
