Which brings us to a new, odd trend that could be sweeping our nation: girls are going clubbing in nothing but tactically-placed duct tape.

Joel Alvarez is the man who came up with the 'artistic' statement, which he calls the Black Tape Project.

With 200,000 followers on social media, Joel tours the world with what he describes as a "scintillating visual extravaganza that has captivated audiences around the globe."

We're pretty certain we couldn't pull it off (or that anybody else would want to), but apparently the project has been popular in Las Vagas, New York, the Caribbean and parts of Europe.
