For some ungodly reason, Universal have decided to remake cult classic The Mummy and undoubtedly ruin the vintage charm it once held forever more. The film, starring Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe, will be released next year hopefully with better audio than the trailer that IMAX shared last week.
Whilst IMAX is known for its explosive effects and thrilling audio, something was a little lacking in the trailer uploaded to their YouTube channel - that something being half the audio.
The video is a bizarre work of art in itself, particularly the near silent plane ride which tumbles through the air with just a few human voices exclaiming, "Arghh!"
The trailer somehow stayed on the IMAX channel without anyone noticing for six days. We can only hope the finished product is half this entertaining.
