The latest edition to the Star Wars spin-off universe, a full feature on the early life of Han Solo, has officially been given a working title, one which we hope isn't here to stay.
With a confirmed cast that includes Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Donald Glover and Alden Ehrenreich as the young Solo, expectations are high for director Chris Miller's first Star Wars feature, but again... what's the deal with the name?
Red Cup might seem like an odd early title to give such a high profile film, but it appears to be meant as a play on (Han) Solo Cup Company, the brand behind those red cups that Americans drink out of at Frat parties.
Miller – who co-directed The Lego Movie and 22 Jump Street has previously tweeted an image of a Solo cup after landing the job directing the Star Wars spin-off, a bit of a tenuous joke, but there you go.
Due for release in 2018, the offshoot from the main universe is in a similar vein to the recently released Rogue One, while we have the sequel to The Force Awakens to look forward to this year.
