First look - Machete

Channeling the spirit of Javier Bardem's ruthless bounty hunter in No Country For Old Men, Machete is a man you wouldn't want to meet down a dark alley. Or anywhere. Though, we reckon you'd get a few more laughs out of this particular cold hard killer than you would from Anton Chigurh.

Directed by God of Grindhouse Robert Rodriguez, "Machete" - in all its b-movie glory - tells the story of a former mexican federal who undertakes a rampage of revenge against his treacherous former employers.

If the high-octane trailer and all-star cast are anything to go buy - think Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro and Michelle Rodriguez (we're choosing to ignore the presence of Steven Seagal) - the film, released November 26, should fare just as well as Rodriguez's acclaimed "Grindhouse" of 2007, in which a fake trailer for "Machete" was featured. It all becomes clear.
