Following on from last year's Fifties Hollywood film season, a seven week summer run of screenings begins tonight at Bluebird in Chelsea.
The Smirnoff Black Screenings take place every Wednesday at 9pm for the next seven weeks, displayed on the restaurant's own big screen - this year's theme centres on the current crop of Hollywood leading men. There'll also be a specially created vodka cocktail available each week in the bar from 6pm, one for each individual movie - which should at least help take the edge off things if the film isn't up to scratch.
Tickets cost £25 per person and include entry to the film, a Smirnoff Black cocktail, a main course (things like classic burger and chips and battered fish and chips) and a dessert.
350 King’s Road, London SW3 5UU. To book tickets call Bluebird on 020 7559 1000 or visit www.bluebird-restaurant.com
