Last night, the Golden Globes took place and female comics Tina Fey and Amy Poehler presented a three-hour marathon of awards, which unlike the Oscars, cover TV as well as film.

It was a good night for Brits as Eddie Redmayne won Best Actor for his portrayal of physicist Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

The controversial jokes, guest presenters and shock wins made the ceremony more fun than usual and paved the way for an evening filled with great quotes.
