If you haven't yet got round to watching the second season of House of Cards, stop reading. Seriously.
If you have and – like us – you've been waiting patiently for more since you binged all 13 episodes last February, allow yourself a brief moment of huge excitement; 45 seconds worth, to be precise, as Netflix craftily unveiled a trailer for the political drama's third season during last night's Golden Globes where, conveniently, lead actor Kevin Spacey won for his performance of (now President) Frank Underwood.
Plot details remain sparse, but if we were to hazard a guess, we would say that cracks are beginning to surface in Frank and Claire's (Robin Wright) steely relationship. Will Frank's ultimate destination of the presidency – achieved at the climax of Season 2 – come at a cost?
"We're murderers, Francis," says Claire, her back turned from her husband. "We're survivors," Frank responds. Something tells us she's not convinced. The good news is it's not long until we find out.
House of Cards returns to Netflix on 27 February
