Sylvester Stallone's Acceptance Speech From The 1977 Oscars Is Retro Gold

Three minutes well spent

Sylvester Stallone is the big favourite to pick up a Best Supporting Actor oscar for his Rocky Balboa reprisal in Creed, but if/when he does win (the bookies have him at 1/8 favourite) it's unlikely his acceptance speech will be as bizarrely watchable as this one from the 49th Academy Awards back in 1977.

With a young Jack Nicholson presenting the Best Picture award and Stallone wearing the most outrageously wide lapels in Oscars history, it's an enjoyable throwback to help get you in the mood for Sunday's show.
