Watching Chelsea Players Fail At This U.S.A Quiz Is A Cringe-Athon For The Ages

Needless to say, they know nothing

It looks like Antonio Conte's first task at Chelsea will be polishing his squad's general knowledge, which proved woeful in a quiz about America ahead of their pre-season tour of the states.

And speaking of 'the states',  Thibaut Courtois and Asmir Begović both thought there were 52, and Pedro counted 32.  Not quite lads.

Things didn't improve for Pedro, who when pressed for which team in the MLS Didier Drogba played for, replied 'yes'. He also thought Kennedy was the first president of the United States.

Slick Belgian Eden Hazard proved equally useless, responding "I don't know" when asked which famous body builder is the former Governor of California. He did, however, redeem himself by guessing the first American president.

None of the team knew who the first American Chelsea player was, until Matt Miazga guessed (after an awkward delay) that it was indeed himself.

You would think having finished 10th last season, there would be some downtime for reading the news. Apparently not.
