"Jooooose Mourinho" is a chant that hasn't rung out from Stamford Bridge in quite some time, and after his acrimonious sacking last season any return was bound to prove awkward for Chelsea's former manager.

Thus it proved last night as Jose's Manchester United side was beaten in a fairly stale 0-1 FA cup tie courtesy of a rare N'Golo Kant goal. But despite the lack of action on the pitch, the game wasn't without drama.

Mourinho was taunted with home side chants of "F**k you Mourinho" and "Judas" to which he responded with a cool hand gesture - no, not that one - signaling three fingers for the number of titles he won them.

At the end of the game the managers didn't shake hands but speaking after the game Mourinho explained that, "If I see him [Conte] here, I shake [his hand]."

"I didn't because I thought my players deserved my action immediately and our supporters also deserve thanks to them, so it was that," he added. "I can promise you, if I see him there [outside the dressing room] I shake his hand, I have nothing to say to him at all, but to shake his hand, for sure, I will do that."

The Special One also told Chelsea fans: "Until they have a manager who wins four PL titles for them, I am number one. 'Judas' is no1."
