David Moyes Is In Hot Water After Threatening To "Slap" Female Reporter

Seriously, Dave?

Sunderland manager David Moyes has been forced to apologise for threatening to "slap" a female reporter.

The ex-United boss, who is currently under pressure at struggling Sunderland, clashed with Vicki Sparks, who works for BBC Newcastle, after his team's draw with Burnley before the international break.

Moyes' temper flared following a question about whether the presence of Sunderland chairman Ellis Short at the game meant his job was under threat.

While he was still being recorded, Moyes told Sparks: "It was getting a wee bit naughty at the end there so just watch yourself.

"You still might get a slap even though you're a woman. Careful the next time you come in."

Woah, Dave, steady on there.

According to The Telegraph, Moyes apologised to Ms Sparks, telling her that his language was completely unacceptable, before apologising and asking for her forgiveness.

Remember, if you're under pressure at work, don't threaten to assault people... it's not a great look.
