Perhaps inspired by his mate Bon Iver sodding off to a cabin in the woods to record every art student's favourite's break up album For Emma, Forever Ago all those years ago, Kanye West has reportedly upped sticks and headed to 'the top of a mountain' to record his latest songs.
This follows the rapper deleting his entire social media presence last week, something we all do periodically in an effort to bring a little peace and authenticity – or a hit new album – into our dopamine-riddled lives.
TMZ is claiming Yeezy has picked a mountaintop retreat in Wyoming from which to pen the follow up to 2016's The Life of Pablo, but are considerately not revealing the exact location so that Kayne obsessives / the paparazzi don't show up and 'ruin his mojo'.
All of which actually sounds pretty cool, really, if it results in something that has us talking about Kayne the musician for a while rather than Kanye the 'fashion visionary', 'presidential candidate' or 'reality TV star's grumpy husband'.
Good luck up there, Yeez
