Already said to have a curved screen, wireless charging and a hefty price tag, the latest iPhone 8 rumour suggests that Apple's flagship phone will take on a very different shape to its predecessors.

Reported by Forbes, one of Apple's biggest manufacturing partners in China, TSMC, has revealed that the next iPhone will be elongated to an 18.5:9 aspect ratio (current iPhone's are 16:9), which - in layman's terms - will make it look a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S8.

The reason for the rumoured shift in shape is to extend the size of the phone's display and screen, while still keeping it narrow enough to use one-handed.

In addition to this very, very important info, The Economic Daily News reports that TSMC has also confirmed that Apple will replace the iPhone's home button with an integrated touch ID on the phone's screen (Or maybe even facial recognition?), while the new camera will support Augmented Reality apps.

What a world we live in.
