If there's one thing Arsenal could learn from Theresa May's current government, it's to never be afraid of doing a deal when the chips are down.
The North London club find themselves facing the increasing prospect of losing their Chilean wonder-man Alexis Sanchez as the forward has long been unable to reach a deal with Arsene Wenger.
According to Metro, the latest interesting development is that "Manchester City are prepared to allow Sergio Aguero to join Arsenal if it means they get No.1 target Alexis Sanchez in return."
The news, initially reported by Daily Star, claims that City are trying to sweeten the deal for Arsenal in order for Guardiola to get his hands on Sanchez.
Daily Star point out that,:"Arsenal have been told by Lyon chief executive Jean-Michel Aulas they must come up with £57m if they are to land France international Alexandre Lacazette, making Aguero an even more attractive alternative."
There were mixed reactions about the deal on Twitter, always a reliable source expert football analysis.
