What we're listening to - New Pornographers

The New Pornographers' new video not only showcases their latest single ‘Moves’, but also offers an alternative history of the band's rise to fame.

Masquerading as a trailer for the biopic, ‘The Rise and Rise of The New Pornographers’, this comic video adheres to all the clichés of a Hollywood movie; troubled child starts band, band makes it big, band falls apart, band has a redemptive come back.

Staring Paul Rudd, Kevin Corrigan, Bill Hader and a whole host of other comedians and musicians this video will surely help the band answer that age old quandary; who would play you in the movie of your life. Judging from this I think The New Pornographers might be disappointed.

‘Moves’ is taken from the band's 5th album, ‘Together’
