If there was ever an exhibition to pique our interest, it was bound to be one outlining - in remarkable detail - the composite elements of the dandy.
The show, "Dandy", has one soul aim, and that's to showcase what makes a dandy tick.
Depicted through an exploration of a dandy's best assets (as one would expect, his assets are his clothes) the show gets to the very core of dandyism - questioning whether it's a way of life or simply a heightened sense of style.
Royal Academy it ain't, but the show - which is beautifully curated - is definitely worth a look. Unfortunately for us, it's in Stockholm's Nordiska Museet, so a bit further than a train ride away. Here's hoping the dandy's back on the road soon.
Dandy will remain in situ at Stockholm's Nordiska Museet until May 15 2011
