QOTSA Frontman Josh Homme Just Rocked CBeebies

Fancy a bedtime story from one of the coolest guys in rock?

Queens of the Stone Age band-leader Josh Homme has appeared on CBeebies to read a bedtime story the way that only a desert-influenced stoner rocker can do.

Homme – who follows in the footsteps of Tom Hardy and the slightly less rock-n-roll Guy Garvey from Elbow – read Zog by Julia Donaldson, a story about a dragon that is learning to be the best he can be by learning to play Led Zeppelin songs on a Les Paul. (We might have made that last bit up).

It won't be Homme's last appearance, either. He reportedly recorded several episodes ahead of the band's performances at Reading and Leeds Festival this summer.
