'Game Of Thrones' Kit Harington Reveals Why He Doesn't Pose For Photos With Fans

"Especially me and Rose, we never do a photo together."

There are upsides and downsides to being part of a cultural phenomenon. Global recognition is always packaged with the clamouring attention of die-hard fans, who are dead-set on getting a piece of you by any means necessary – and for Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington (Jon Snow), that kind of worship has long since gotten old.

Speaking to the Guardian, Harington revealed that the pressure of fame has done a number on his mental health.

"Like, being in Spain and there being a crowd of 500, maybe 600 fans camped outside the hotel every day, and you have to get through them. It feels like being Bieber or something," he said.

"I don't particularly enjoy that. I don't know. Do I? I'm glad I've experienced it, but... It's a bit incessant.

"It makes me snappy and it makes me uncomfortable, and I turn into a grumpy person."

Harington then went a step further by revealing why he refuses to pose for photos with many invasive Game of Thrones fans.

"You just have to [turn them down], otherwise you start feeling like a mannequin.

"Especially me and Rose, we never do a photo together. Because then it makes our relationship feel like... puppets. Like we're a walking show."
