Mauricio Pochettino Called Out This Tottenham Star For Being Overweight

Mauricio Pochettino runs a tight ship at Spurs, and one player found himself at the end of the Argentine's wrath after turning up to training in less than peak-condition.

Full back Kieran Trippier has made great strides since arriving in North London for £3.5 million in 2015, and is set to secure a place in Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad.

It's no surprise that Sean Dyche – a man who probably drinks gravel and sweat smoothies – cared a little less than Pochettino about the finer points of health and fitness.

"It turns out I wasn't in the best shape when I came to Tottenham and the manager let me know that. He told me that and within six months of getting there I was in great condition."

It worked out for the best. The 27-year-old soon shaped up, and he'll probably his just reward this summer.
