POTUS ticks another dangerous item off his despot Christmas wish list

Perhaps Trump has finally cottoned on to the fact he might be losing his grip on power now that Michael Flynn has agreed to cooperate with the Russia investigation and Special counsel Robert Mueller has reportedly issued a subpoena to Trump's bank, Deutsche Bank.

It might explain why his legislative actions over the last week have read like the Christmas wish list of a desperate despot. In addition to jamming a partially handwritten tax bill through congress which gave tax breaks to private jet owners, Trump has also slashed 2 million acres of land in protected national parks, seen his travel ban go into effect and endorsed alleged child molester Roy Moore for senate.

But his stupidest move, in a very competitive field, arguably came yesterday when he announced he was moving the American embassy to Jerusalem while declaring it the recognised capital of Israel (as far the US is concerned), a move that puts the entire middle east peace process at risk by torching decades of work on a resolution between Israel and Palestine.

Hamas have already called for an uprising, decrying the announcement as a declaration of war and Palestinians clashed with Israeli forces last night while protesting the announcement.

In addition to the maddening destructiveness of this move Trump also appeared to be slurring his words during the announcement, unable to say "Jerusalem" before signing off, "And God blesh the United Shtatesh..."

The long list of things that people are speculating could be wrong with the him includes his dentures falling out, nervousness about Mueller, mental health problems and 'meth lisp'.

Brilliant to hear the confidence the world has in the man whose taken it upon himself to personally sort a conflict that has raged for more than 100 years.

The White House immediately responded to the questioning about his pronunciation saying he simply had a "dry mouth".

"His throat was dry. There's nothing to it," a spokesman told the Los Angeles Times.

Nothing to it but a man so drunk on his own power he can't even speak.
