Exercising to music has been proven to increase an athlete's performance by up to 15 per cent, but we reckon exercising to "Pjanoo" by Eric Prydz can push it to at least 17. The three CDs, themed "Jog", "Run" and "Sprint", feature a seamless mix of tracks ranging from the arguably credible — Fedde Le Grand's "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit", Kid Cudi Vs Crookers' "Day 'N' Nite" — to the downright shame-inducing — Robert Miles' "Children", "Miracle" by Cascada — but all guaranteed to keep your pulse racing.

Ministry Of Sound's Running Trax is available from 25 January, £12.99, www.ministryofsound.com
