In an enlightened move that shows his forward-thinking and down-with-the-kids nature, Barack Obama permitted the newly-appointed members of his administration to be photographed in the days before his inauguration, by cutting-edge photographer - and Esquire regular - Nadav Kander.
The collected photographs, which were commissioned by The New York Times, show the incredible range of ages, races, shapes, sizes and sexes (well, mostly they're one of two) of the folk who work for the President, including the more familiar names and faces of Hilary Clinton and Joe Biden. But they're also stunning portraits in their own right, as we've come to expect from Kander, who shot Lewis Hamilton and Tony Blair for recent issues of Esquire.
Obama's People is on show at Flowers, London E2 from now until 10 October www.flowerseast.com
