Moby gets Lynched (but in a good way)

David Lynch has produced a striking animation to serve as the video for Moby's new track "Shot In The Back Of The Head". The style is best described as LS Lowry drawing Beavis and Butt-head and the cult director seems to have taken the title of the song quite literally - a gun, a man with a hole for a face, etc. Still, there's something unquestionably Lynchian about the whole thing, from the wallpapered domestic settings that are both mundane and oppressive and the sense of an overwhelming blackness lurking round every corner, to the sharp suits (even if they are drawn in marker-pen). Moby's new album, Wait For Me, is due this summer on Mute.
