With a title like How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia, it could be one of those big-promising books that clutter the top of the Amazon sales charts. Then you see the giveaway subtitle, “A Novel”, and the fact that it was written by Mohsin Hamid, who wrote The Reluctant Fundamentalist (the film adaptation of which is out on 19 April).
