Pete Doherty's New Babyshambles Song

The last we heard of Pete Doherty's love-stoned crooning was 2009 solo effort Grace/Wastelands, a Jeff Buckley-esque change of pace. New track "Nothing Comes To Nothing" sees him back in proper Babyshambles mode. The punchy song shows hints of – dare we say it – collaboration. Either way, it's a further jump away from his garage rock Libertine roots.

If you're struggling with the lush production on the single, take a spin of its demo version (also below) – complete with lo-fi first-take guitar licks and that familiar, slightly pitchy Doherty drone.
