Hasselblad is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
A brand beloved of iconic photographers including Bert Stern and Ansel Adams, everyone knows at least some pictures taken using one – Buzz Aldrin used his Hasselblad when he landed on the moon.
As famous as they are, medium format cameras, whoever makes them, are not for everyone. They're big and expensive. The Swedish brand's latest release isn't going to buck either of those trends but it is a thing of absolute beauty.
Aside from its stunning looks the H6D-100cc packs a 100-megapixel sensor, a 3-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi connectivity and 4K video. It costs €28,900, while a (slightly) more reasonable 50-megapixel version will be released later this year, for €22,900.
