Through all the bloodshed and White Walkers, two Game of Thrones stars have become very close indeed, and they've got the ink to prove it.
On the red carpet of the Emmys Sunday night, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner revealed their new matching tattoos—and no, they say nothing about winter or direwolves.
"She's one of my best friends in the whole world," Williams told E! News' Giuliana Rancic. "We got matching tattoos." She then showed off the date on her forearm in peach that reads "07.08.09." "That's the date that we both heard we got Game of Thrones on...I got it the other day. [It's] still a bit crusty."
"We always kind of said we want matching [tattoos]," Turner added to Rancic. "The date was always really significant...and then with Thrones we were always planning from season one, like if we could make it all the way through, hopefully we could all get a matching thing."
Of course, we're not finished with GoT just yet, but Turner and Williams decided to take the plunge anyway. "We don't know if we're going to make it so Maisie and I were like, 'Let's get these ones before anyone kills us!'" Turner joked.
