The latest Game of Thrones episode 'Eastwatch' saw another long-awaited reunion, as Tyrion and Jaime Lannister were in the same room again.

But 'Eastwatch' robbed fans of another one.

Bronn actor Jerome Flynn has revealed that there had been plans for his character and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) to have a moment together on screen. That scene never materialised, though, and instead their interaction – in which Bronn agreed to lure Jaime into a meeting with Tyrion – happened off screen.

"Originally, I heard there was going to be [a scene]," Flynn told The Hollywood Reporter. "They decided not to go for it.

"There's something, I hope, that's still to come, where Bronn and Tyrion might have a little bit of time for an exchange together and shoot the breeze, as it were. Hopefully there will be some old Bronn and Tyrion dynamics coming up again.

"But it was a lovely scene. That was a lovely part of the whole season, all of the many reunions and all of the different storylines coming together."
