James Corden is delivering on his promise to bring his US series The Late Late Show to the UK.

The late-night host recently hinted that he had very special plans involving his home country for 2017, and now we know that he'll be bringing The Late Late Show across the Atlantic for three special shows in London.

James is setting up at Westminster Central Hall for the specials, and you'll be able to watch them on June 7, 8 and 9 at 10pm, airing on Sky 1 and NOW TV in the UK and on CBS in the US.

"To bring The Late Late Show to the UK is a dream come true for me," James announced. "I'm incredibly proud of the show and we're going to do our best to make this week in London memorable."

While we don't have any confirmation yet, it's safe to assume that James will be roping in some of the UK's top acts for Carpool Karaoke while he's home.

Or maybe this is the chance for Robbie Williams to land in James's passenger seat, since he's been famously turned down from a stateside Carpool Karaoke trip.

"James hasn't got back to me about doing Carpool Karaoke yet," Robbie recently admitted. "I suppose you have to be famous in America to do Carpool.

"I'm not famous there. I'm yet to tick that box. It does need to happen."

These June episodes will obviously be a homecoming celebration for James, who's taken the US by storm since he replaced Craig Ferguson as host of the Late Late Show on CBS two years ago.

The popularity of his late-night show propelled James into huge gigs like hosting the Tony Awards, and most recently replacing long-time Grammy Awards presenter LL Cool J.
