"The war has already begun, and I've drawn first blood," says Cersei in the teaser for Game of Thrones season seven episode three.

She's right. At the end of 'Stormborn', her suitor Prince Euron has already captured two of her main enemies - Yara Greyjoy and Ellaria Sand - and it looks like he's gets a hero's welcome in King's Landing as a result.

This makes arguably the biggest meeting of any two characters in the show's history even more important. As the teaser ends, we see it confirmed: Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen will come face to face.

From the very first season, the Mother of Dragons and the (now) King in the North have been flung to the furthest corners of Westeros, where each have had to overcome huge odds to become leaders of two very different armies.

Now, they depends on each other without having even met. Will they form an alliance? Probably. Will it work? Who knows. Only two episodes in and season seven is already exceeding expectations.
