If anyone has a reason to cross back from the afterlife to haunt Westeros it's Catelyn Stark.

Lady Stoneheart was ruthlessly slaughtered alongside her son Robb, his wife and her unborn grandchild at the infamous Red Wedding scene in season three, before her surviving children scattered across the land of Westeros, each setting out on their own personal battle for survival.

But now, as the Stark children begin to reconnect, Game of Thrones fans are convinced their mother has returned after her "ghost" appeared to glide past a doorway during the heated sword session between Arya Stark and Brienne of Tarth in episode four.

Can you see her? Look to the right of Brienne, under the arch?

The apparent apparition came as the characters chatted before crossing swords. Then, just as Arya tells Brienne, "You swore to serve both my mother's daughters," the figure of a women in a green dress can be seen drifting beneath an arch in the background.

It comes 12 seconds into this clip, but look closely, for she vanishes as quickly as she appears:

Reddit user GrennsGal was the first to spot the spectre, writing: "If you watch the sparring scene in S07E04 between Arya and Brienne, when Arya asks 'Didn't you vow to serve both my MOTHER's daughters?' - at the word MOTHER you can see a woman in a long green dress w/ long auburn wavy hair with her head down walking past the background gate, resembling Cat.

"If it's unintentional, it's awesome. If not, more awesome. Catelyn cheking on Brienne keeping her vows."

Sure, sure. That, or just a rogue extra looking to boost her screen time. If so, well played her.
