Does This Video Prove Jon Snow Is Destined For The Iron Throne?

Is the King In The North about to get a promotion?

It's official: after The Three Eyed Raven (FKA Bran Stark) did his time travelling vision trick in the season 7 finale, Jon Snow is a bastard no more.

What we learned through the eyes of Gap Year Stark (and with a bit of help from old pal Sam Tarly) is that back in the day, Rhaegar Targaryen annulled his first marriage to wed Ned Stark'ssister, Lyanna, thus making moody Jon Snow not only his legitimate heir, but the person with the biggest claim to the Iron Throne in all of the Seven Kingdoms.

Look, Bran even said as much, "He's never been a bastard," he said in the season 7 finale. "He's the heir to the Iron Throne."

Of course, Jon never asked for the throne, and his new relationship with the Mother of Dragons/ His Father's Sister might complicate that somewhat. After all, Dany doesn't seem like the sort of person to simply step aside and let someone else take the big seat after spending 7 seasons banging on about how the throne is rightfully hers.

Either way, for those who've missed the odd bit of exposition, or need a quick refresher, this video should get the job done.

Will Jon ditch 'King In The North' in favour of 'The Targaryen Wolf'? Will Dany let him live? One thing's for sure, whatever happens, you can bet he won't be happy about it.
