The Stone Roses Are Working On A New Album

How worried should we be?

After more than 20 years since they last released a new record, The Stone Roses are said to be preparing a third album.

The cult Manchester group re-formed for a set of gigs in 2012, with speculation over fresh music building ever since.

According to the Mirror, a source said: "Ian Brown and the lads have been busy getting their next album ready. It will be album number three.

"It's a long time coming, but they feel the time is right now. They've been back in the studio. Everyone is very excited about it."

It might not be rock-solid evidence as yet, but the chance to hear new material from a band that helped to so iconically soundtrack the 90s has us both excited and terrified in equal measure.
