When one woman in China wanted to buy a house, she decided to get a little creative...by getting herself 20 fellas so she could persuade them each to buy her an iPhone 7.

BBC reports that a Chinese blogger using the pseudonym Proud Qiaoba wrote a blog post about her friend Xiaoli (also a pseudonym) from Shenzen, China. According to Proud Qiaoba, Xiaoli asked each of her 20 boyfriends to buy her an iPhone 7, which had just launched. She sold each of the phones to recycling site Hui Shou Bao for 120,000 Chinese yuan (about £15,000), which she put to good use by putting down a deposit on a lovely house in the countryside.

"[Xiaoli] is not from a wealthy family," Proud Qiaoba wrote in the post, according to the BBC. "Her mum is a housewife and her dad is a migrant worker, and she is the oldest daughter. Her parents are getting old and she might be under a lot of pressure hoping to buy them a house...But it's still unbelievable that she could use this method!"

Well, that's certainly one way to do it. By the way, fellas, feel free to buy your humble writer an iPhone 7. I'll just be here looking at property listings.
