The age old question of how to get over someone hasn't gotten any easier, especially now you're given a live stream of what they're up to via social media.

Pulling yourself together after a break-up is difficult, but according to new research from Match.com, we shouldn't be too distraught as we'll likely end up back together.

Results from their recent survey found that 54% of British couples end up together again after calling it quits. Couples that rekindled their relationship did so 2.11 times on average and three per cent of couples admitted they had got back together on six or more occasions.

According to Match, 25 per cent of people don't inform close friends about break-ups as we're so hellbent on a reunion. Sounds healthy.

It takes on average five months after a relationship ends to start dating again and people opted for going out with friends (39 per cent) getting drunk (33 per cent) and shopping (30 per cent) to cope with the anguish.
