A few weeks ago, Kith founder Ronnie Fieg directed his fans to the brand's website for a special Saturday-morning announcement. What awaited them was the screening of an old-school episode of Power Rangers. And while that #SaturdayMorningCartoons announcement revolved around the Cap'n Crunch collaboration the businessman launched on 8 October —dubbed, of course, Cap'n Kith—the brand has returned to the well of '90s nostalgia for its latest collection.

On Friday, Kith launched a limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The range features everything from pint glasses and key chains to hoodies, tees, and beanies—as well as a lookbook modeled by Hailey Baldwin.

"Power Rangers has some of the most loyal fans and as we approach the 25th anniversary, it continues to have staying power across many generations," Janet Hsu, the CEO of Saban Brands told Esquire via email about the project. For Saban, the line is a tie-in with the promotions for the upcoming Power Rangers film, due out in 2017.

"Kith x Power Rangers started from authentic conversations with Ronnie about his love of the brand and the strong nostalgia it ignites in people. He grew up watching Power Rangers on TV and now as an adult, he draws design inspiration from the original 'Mighty Morphin" series." In case you were wondering, Fieg's favorite ranger is the White Ranger. In fact, the episode he aired on #SaturdayMorningCartoons saw the debut of that superhero.

Over the past few weeks the unisex collection has been on display on social media as the likes of YesJulz and Gigi Hadid have worn it prior to it's release. But now, pieces like the collection's black hoodie with Ranger helmets creeping up the arm will be available to all.

Unlike the Cap'n Crunch collaboration that preceded it, the Power Rangers project is not due for its own set of pop-up shops. But it will be super limited—only 144 pieces of each style will be made. The apparel—including the special-edition New Era 59Fifty hat that features Rangers' helmets on it as well as the Kith logo—is available in stores and on the brand's site, while the accessories will be exclusively in stores.

If you think this is the last time that Kith will return to the 90s, you're mistaken. Back at the brand's first-ever runway show, it previewed pieces from collaborations with Rugrats as well as The Bugs Bunny Show. Expect those to debut later this year. And don't expect us to get tired of it any time soon.
