At 6'6'' with a 40-inch waist, Zach Miko isn't your standard male model. In fact, he might not have been one at all if it weren't for his wife, who encouraged him to go for the Target gig that made him Internet famous last fall. "I never would have had the confidence to go model or do anything if it wasn't for my wife," he told People at the time. "She's who made me feel attractive for the first time. She made me feel OK with what I am."

It's a good thing she did, because it turns out that was his big break. Miko was just signed by modeling powerhouse IMG as the first model in a new men's plus-size division called "Brawn." And though the name conjures up images of paper towels and their mustachioed mascot and is, let's face it, kind of silly, we're completely on board with this development. For one thing, Miko is a vocal proponent of body positivity of all kinds and seems like a genuinely decent dude. For another, IMG's president Ivan Bart (a bigger guy himself) is hoping the move will encourage more stores and brands to produce and sell larger sizes. So, a good guy lands a job, the world becomes a little more inclusive, and everyone gets the warm fuzzies online. Sounds like a net win to us. The only question is why it took this long to get here.
