The guy who rose to fame when his mug shot went viral has just walked in Philipp Plein's latest catwalk show. Jeremy Meeks made his New York Fashion Week debut on Sunday after being signed to a modeling agency before his release from prison late last year.
Meeks shot to fame when his mug shot was posted onto a Californian police department's Facebook page in 2014. The image went viral as millions noticed his good looks.
Meeks then went on to serve a 27-month jail sentence after being charged with illegally possessing firearms, carrying a loaded firearm in public and criminal street gang activity.
However, the jail sentence did little to dull his newly-found fame. He is now signed to White Cross Management, made his catwalk debut for Philipp Plein (who is known for his over-the-top fashion shows) and has even been spotted hanging out with the likes of Carine Roitfeld.
