Shia LaBeouf was arrested Sunday morning and charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness. A new arrest video obtained by WJCL in Georgia shows the actor verbally attacking the police officer and calling him a "dumb fuck" and a "stupid bitch."
In the body cam video, LaBeouf yells at the officer, "I have rights! I'm an American. You got me in my hotel, arresting me in my hotel for doing what, Sir?" Once he's in the police cruiser he screams, "I'm a fucking American, I pay my taxes, get these shits off my fucking arm ... I got more millionaire lawyers than you know what to do with, you stupid bitch."
LaBeouf also makes some disturbing comments about the officer's race and the president. As WJCL reports:
The officer says that's when LaBeouf came over to them asking for a cigarette. When they told LaBeouf they couldn't help him, the officer says LaBeouf looked at him and asked "What (expletive) badge are you wearing?" The report goes on to say that the officer then asked LaBeouf to leave the area multiple times because of his behavior, but that the actor became increasingly agitated, shouting profanities at the officer. The officer then writes that LaBeouf "started coming towards me in a aggressive manner." The report says that at that point, the officer grabbed his arm to put the actor in handcuffs at which point, according to the report, LaBeouf said, "you are not arresting me (expletive)" as he ran toward the Andaz Hotel.
LaBeouf has been plagued with legal troubles throughout his career, having been arrested for jaywalking in Texas and threatening his neighbour with a knife in Los Angeles.
