Now their feud has been (sort of) cleared up, it appears we could be in line for a Marilyn Manson-Justin Bieber collaboration.

A back-and-forth between the pair began last year, when Bieber wore a T-shirt with Manson's face on the front and "bigger than Satan: Bieber" on the back at a gig.

Sometime after that, Biebs apparently told Manson that he'd made him "relevant again", and only last week the Antichrist Superstar musician branded Justin "a little shit".

However, Manson seemed a little more forgiving this week on The Howard Stern Show, where he allowed the presenter to read out texts between the pair.

A text from Bieber begins the exchange: "Bro, it's Bieber, what's up with that article? I thought we had a pretty pleasant interaction. Also, if anything wasn't squared away with the T-shirts I'm so sorry.

"Anyway, regardless, it kind of stung seeing that if I came off as an asshole or was just an asshole, I'm sorry?"

Manson replied by text, "That [the interview] was exaggerated. You were just you being you. No beef here," with Stern asking: "Oh, so you don't have a problem with him?"

Manson then clarified to the host: "I just said, 'You were just being you', which could mean you're just being an asshole, or whatever."

Returning to the texts, Bieber replied: "Honestly, I totally thought we hit it off. Again, my bad, if I was an asshole, that wasn't my intention. Just want you to know that."

Wrapping it up, Manson sent: "We are cool. People just made that shirt stuff into a fake feud. Let's turn it upside-down and f**k the press and do something together.

"It will be the best. And don't apologise, you weren't an asshole. They asked if you were and I sort of agreed. I wasn't out to get you."
