Game of Thrones is ending next year, which means we'll have absolutely nothing to look forward to ever again, and will have to make do with pretending to be the Night's Watch when it snows once a year.

Fortunately, we still have the final season to get excited about, and now we have a new poster to go with it. Behold:

Collider revealed the first promo poster for Game of Thrones season 8, which will be showcased at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas in May.

The artwork confirms that winter is indeed finally coming in 2019. It also features the sigils of the three remaining great houses: Stark, Targaryen and Lannister.

Earlier this month, new pictures surfaced revealing that Jon Snow will be having scenes with Cersei Lannister.

Lena Headey, whose character currently sits on the Iron Throne, was spotted in costume, shooting a number of scenes in Dubrovnik, Croatia – alongside Kit Harington in costume.

We've also seen Harington shooting in the same area with Samwell Tarly actor John Bradley in previously-released photos
