Liam Gallagher has again shattered the fragile peace within his family by likening his brother Noel and his sister-in-law Sara MacDonald to the nation's most notorious serial killers.

Two months ago, it looked as if there would actually be harmony among the Gallaghers when Liam publicly wished his sibling a happy Christmas on Twitter and even told a fan they were "all good again".

Unfortunately, the relationship soured again last week when Liam said he wasn't concerned about his brother, sister-in-law and their children being bullied on social media — leading Sara to brand him a "deplorable wanker" and tell him to "drop dead" on Instagram in return (via The Sun).

That didn't sit well with Liam, so he went off on perhaps his harshest-ever Twitter rant on Wednesday, in which he blamed Sara for the break-up of Oasis.

"Think it's time to address the witch you want me to drop dead you have a screw loose and know the world knows as you were," he tweeted. "She's the reason OASIS is no longer have to put it out there she's DARK."

Liam even likened his brother and sister-in-law to Britain's most notorious serial killers, Fred and Rosemary West, writing: "Him and her are like Fred and Mary west wishing people get aids and drop dead as you f**king were Oasis for life LG x."

Prior to their Christmas truce at the end of last year, Liam had repeatedly hit out at Noel for failing to turn up at last summer's One Love Manchester charity concert.

After being called a "sad f**k" by Liam, Noel struck back by claiming he'd never been invited to the gig and urged his brother to seek counselling for his anger issues.

"He needs to see a psychiatrist," Noel vented. "I don't say that as a joke. Because young Mancunians, young music fans, were slaughtered, and he, twice, takes it somewhere to be about him. He needs to see somebody."
