Quentin Tarantino's love letter to Sixties Hollywood only premiered a few months ago, but Sony has already announced that it's already getting a re-release. Stealing a move from Marvel's money-guzzling juggernauts, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood will return to cinemas on Friday 25 October with four new scenes (that's 10 minutes of bonus material, for all you completists out there), which the studio says will "bookend" the film.

The are, doubtless, artistic reasons to give Once Upon A Time In Hollywood a second big screen outing. Perhaps we'll find out [SPOILERS!] whether Cliff Booth did actually kill his wife. Or if the Manson Family were ever caught in Tarantino's more flamethrower-heavy timeline.

But let's be honest, this is mostly about money, and the bits that aren't about money are about awards. Sony's confirmed that it's running both its leads in this year's Oscar race, with Leonardo DiCaprio entered for 'Best Actor' and Brad Pitt for 'Best Supporting Actor', where he's currently bookies' favourite to win his first Academy Award. A recent cinema run won't hurt either's chances when the Academy is mulling its shortlist.
