Despite the fact that Donald Trump has a lot of incredibly bothersome ideas about women, there are still plenty of women who openly support him as a possible presidential candidate. It's fine. It's fine! To each their own. Some women show their support in a pretty conventional way by attending his rallies, and others show support in special ways, by doing things like posing mostly nude with a Trump campaign sign, and then sharing that picture with a Twitter account that promotes photos of "babes" who love Trump.

@BabesForTrump is a (borderline pornographic, probably NSFW) Twitter account that's dedicated to proving there are hot, young women (or to use their language, babes) in this country who support Trump as a future leader for this country. And no, it's not satire. It's super serious.

In an interview with Vice, the four college student co-founders of the Twitter account said they "were baffled to see that young college women were full on supporting Trump and weren't afraid to show a little skin while they're at it." Thus was born @BabesForTrump, which usually also has an accompanying Instagram account under the same name, but it's temporarily down for unspecified reasons.

We have nothing wrong with women posting sexy photos in support of their chosen presidential candidate, or posting sexy photos for any other reason for that matter. Go ahead. Flash your boobs for Hillary or whomever or whatever. What is so baffling about Babes For Trump, however, is that it's impossible to discern how Trump might feel about the account. We know that he likes female bodies (evidenced by his taste for beauty pageants), but we also know that he doesn't care so much about keeping them safe (evidenced by most of his policies regarding sexual health). So this really is a pickle, isn't it? Trump, if you're reading this, please @ us with your views re: @BabesForTrump.

Whatever Trump's feelings are regarding this Twitter account run by some (horny?) college students, @BabesForTrump makes it clear that they are not actually affiliated with @realDonaldTrump. So at the very least, he hasn't officially signed off on it. At least not yet. There's always tomorrow.
